Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams exits game with knee injury, listed as questionable

Denver Broncos running back Javonte Williams suffered a knee injury early in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Denver announced that Williams is questionable to return to the game.
Before leaving the game, Williams rushed 10 times for 28 yards and caught one pass. He was replaced on offense by third-string running back Mike Boone.
Williams, 22, entered play Sunday with 176 yards on 37 rushing attempts this season. He appeared in each of the Broncos' 17 games last season, amassing 903 yards on the ground and another 316 yards through the air. The former second-round pick accounted for seven all-purpose touchdowns last season.

Williams was the 35th overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft. He starred collegiately at the University of North Carolina.
