Former Browns QB Johnny Manziel clears waivers, free to sign with any team

Johnny Manziel is free to sign with any team, if anyone will have him.

The troubled former Cleveland Browns quarterback cleared waivers Saturday, a person with access to the NFL's internal transaction wire told Paste BN Sports.

The Browns waived Manziel on Friday.

The Browns couldn’t trade him and the nearly $2.2 million in guarantees remaining on his contract.
