A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Cleveland Browns wide receiver over a paternity case, according to the Associated Press and Cleveland.com.

A judge issued the warrant after Gordon did not respond to several subpoenas in the case.

Gordon also did not provide a DNA sample to the court last year despite being ordered to do so.

Gordon is currently serving a four-game suspension due to a violation of the NFL substance-abuse program.

NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said the warrant would not affect Gordon's standing with the league. The Browns said they were "aware of the situation."
