Robert Griffin III returns to practice for Cleveland Browns

RG3 is back! Well, almost.

Quarterback Robert Griffin III practiced with the Cleveland Browns on Wednesday after being designated for return from injured reserve.

Griffin, signed as a free agent in the offseason, suffered a fractured bone in his left shoulder during the season opener against the Eagles and hasn’t played since.

He was 12-for-26 for 190 yards against the Eagles before getting injured.

"I still feel I can be the guy and I look forward to proving it," Griffin told reporters after practice.

Browns coach Hue Jackson said Griffin hasn't been cleared for contact yet and would not play this week. The Browns have 21 days to activate Griffin or he remains on IR for the season.

Now 0-11, the Browns play the Giants on Sunday.
