Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett was diagnosed with a high ankle sprain that will keep the top overall pick in this year’s NFL draft sidelined at least two weeks, the franchise announced on Thursday.
Garrett was injured in practice on Wednesday when a teammate fell on his right leg. The Browns said in their statement that Garrett’s status “will be updated in a couple weeks.”
