BEREA, Ohio — Odell Beckham Jr. watched the speculation about his future with the Browns spiral out of control the past couple of weeks and decided to calm the drama.
The star wide receiver did so Wednesday by declaring he’ll be back with the Browns next season.
“I’m not going anywhere. I’ll be here,” Beckham said after the Browns (6-8) practiced for Sunday’s rematch against the AFC North champion Baltimore Ravens (12-2). “We’re going to figure this thing out. It’s just too special to leave.”
Beckham laughed off recent reports alleging he has told opponents this season “come get me” out of Cleveland and insisted he’s committed to the Browns, who acquired him in a March trade with the New York Giants.
