The Detroit Lions were in rare form at the end of the first half against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Friday.
Bucs receiver Adam Humphries returned a missed Matt Prater field goal 109 yards for a touchdown on the final play of the half in the teams' third exhibition.
Prater's 62-yarder was short and left, and Humphries weaved through the Lions' kicking team for a 20-6 halftime lead for the Bucs.
The play drew immediate comparisons to Auburn's famous game-winning "Kick Six" score against Alabama in 2013. Cornerback Chris Davis returned a missed field goal 109 yards with no time remaining to secure the stunning upset over the then-No. 1 Crimson Tide.
The Lions open the 2018 season Sept. 10 on Monday Night Football against the New York Jets.
