The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have added some veteran depth to their defensive line, signing Deadrin Senat, the team announced Friday.
Senat, a third-round pick in the 2018 NFL draft by the Atlanta Falcons, played his college home games at the Bucs' Raymond James Stadium for USF. He was a two-time all-conference pick for the Bulls.
The 27-year-old showed flashes as a rookie with 30 tackles, but has struggled with injuries since. He's expected to compete for a backup job with the Bucs heading into the 2022 season.
