The Buccaneers on Saturday released kicker Roberto Aguayo, a former second-round pick.
The move comes after a rough Friday night for Aguayo, who missed a 47-yard field goal and an extra point in a 23-12 preseason loss to the Bengals.
Aguayo had a forgettable rookie season for the Bucs last year, hitting just 22 of 31 field-goal attempts, with his longest field goal just 43 yards.
