Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety T.J. Ward was arrested Wednesday morning on drug charges, according to the Hillsborough County (Fla.) Sheriff's Office.
Ward was charged with "possession of cannabis" and "possession of drug paraphernalia" in Tampa and was released from jail later Wednesday morning after posting $2,500 bond, jail records revealed.
Ward started five games for the Bucs this past season after signing a one-year, $5 million deal. The three-time Pro Bowler is slated to be a free agent in March.
