Kansas City Chiefs wait to see whether they will play Broncos or Patriots

The Chiefs won’t know which team — top-seeded Denver or No. 2 New England — they will face in next weekend’s AFC divisional round until the conclusion of the second AFC wild-card game Saturday night.
The Chiefs will face the Patriots next week if the Steelers defeat the Bengals.
But if the Bengals win Saturday night, NFL fans will get Chiefs-Broncos III next Sunday
The Chiefs and Broncos split the two regular season meetings, with the Chiefs winning 36-21 at Mile High Stadium on Nov. 15.
The game is best remembered for Broncos QB Peyton Manning throwing four interceptions and being lifted for Brock Osweiler. It was later revealed Manning had a foot injury.
This will be Manning’s first start since then.
In the teams’ first meeting, in Week 2 in Kansas City, the Broncos won, 31-24.
