Chiefs' Charcandrick West honors Joe McKnight after TD

KANSAS CITY – Kansas City Chiefs running back Charcandrick West burst into the end zone and then ripped up his red jersey to display a handwritten and heartfelt message for former teammate Joe McKnight, who was killed in an alleged road rage incident in New Orleans last week.

West had written “Long Live Joe” on his undershirt, and he pointed to the message after his touchdown gave the Chiefs a 14-3 lead over the Oakland Raiders on Thursday night.

West and McKnight were teammates in Kansas City in 2014.
