Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes dedicates poem to daughter Sterling in latest Oakley campaign

Premier eyeware brand Oakley begins its fourth season as the official on-field partner of the NFL. Their relationship with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes also grows with the latest ad campaign featuring Mahomes and his daughter.
In the Oakley commercial, Mahomes is shown reading a poem to his daughter, Sterling, with clips of him through the years rolling through like a slideshow. Photos and never-before-seen video footage of Sterling are also shown as he continues with his "To My Number One Pick" poem.
"To my number one pick. Welcome to life," Mahomes said. "You're already perfect. And here's some advice: Love the game, whatever you play. Water your dreams with hard work every day. Tune out the haters, ignore all the chatter, respect every player. Watch out for linebackers who drop into coverage early, especially on a play-action. Stay focused, stay hungry, be loyal and lead. When the team feels like family, that's all that you need. There's only one you, you'll shine bright as a star. Just lead with your heart and be who you are."
The poem isn't just for his daughter, but it offers advice for every young aspiring athlete and fans to pursue their dreams.
Mahomes also teases his new Signature Series Collection, which offers four eyewear styles with a gold frame with hints of red that allude to the Chiefs' colors. Each frame is equipped with Oakley's Prizm Lens Technology, designed to enhance color and contrast to see more details on the field.
