Colts QB Jacoby Brissett leaves game with knee injury

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett went down with an injury with 12:41 left in the second quarter Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

It appeared Pittsburgh's Cameron Heyward pushed Colts guard Quenton Nelson into Brissett, who injured his left knee. He is questionable to return to the game after jogging off the field.

Brian Hoyer replaced Brissett and threw a 11-yard touchdown to Jack Doyle on his second play. It was the first touchdown he's thrown since 2017 and gave the Colts a 10-3 lead.

Hoyer's first snap marked the first for the Colts this season that Brissett had not taken as quarterback.

Brissett went into the medical tent after the drive.
