Colts QB Philip Rivers trips over himself on failed tackle attempt vs. Ravens
Philip Rivers and the Indianapolis Colts managed to have a lowlight on offense and defense on the same play.
With the Colts leading the Baltimore Ravens 7-0 late in the first quarter on Sunday, rookie running back Jonathan Taylor fumbled on a first-and-10 run. Ravens safety Chuck Clark scooped up the ball and ran down the sideline.
Rivers, serving as the last line of defense, tried to track down Clark but appeared to trip over his own feet. Clark hurled Rivers, who stretched out his arms in vain, before reaching the end zone to tie the game.
The score was Baltimore's league-leading 12th defensive TD since 2018.
