Cowboys' Dak Prescott sets NFL record for fewest interceptions in first 500 passes
Add another line to Dak Prescott's résumé.
On Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback became the first player in NFL history to have fewer than five interceptions in his first 500 pass attempts. Prescott has just four, all of which came as a rookie.
He set the mark when he completed his first two passes Sunday against the Denver Broncos.
Prescott previously broke New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's record for most passes to start a career without an interception with 176 last season.
Tight end Jason Witten also broke Cowboys record for most games played by any player for the franchise with 225. The mark previously belonged to Ed "Too Tall" Jones.
