Cowboys safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix shares video of his encounter with bears while he was on scooter
Ha Ha Clinton-Dix knows all about playing defense against the Bears and for the Bears, but lowercase bears are a totally new territory.
The former Green Bay Packers safety and current Dallas Cowboys player shared surveillance camera footage on Instagram on Tuesday that shows him having a close encounter of the hair-rising kind with a bear and its cub.
The bears are first seen lumbering up what looks like a driveway in the 28-second clip. Enter Clinton-Dix on a scooter unknowingly heading their way. When he spots them behind a car, he makes lightning-quick work of dismounting the scooter and taking off on foot in the opposite direction. The scooter goes flying and the bears scatter.
"A lil high on my flip turn but the drive was there," he wrote on Instagram, with hashtags "#Haha," "#safetyfirst" and "#Imgood."
Clinton-Dix, who played with the Washington Redskins and Chicago Bears after the Packers traded him in 2018, signed with the Cowboys in March.
