More than 300 prospects are headed to Indianapolis for the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, but when is the 2025 NFL draft?
As has been the case since 1976, the NFL draft will take place right in the middle of spring, over the last weekend in April. A majority of players at this year's NFL combine will hear their names called sometime between Thursday, April 24 and Saturday, April 26 and will join their new teams shortly after.
The first day of the draft (April 24) will feature only the first round, with the second and third rounds taking place the day after (April 25). The 2025 NFL draft will conclude on Saturday, April 26 with the final four rounds.

When is the 2025 NFL draft?
The 2025 NFL draft starts on Thursday, April 24 with the first round. The second and third rounds happen the following day, Friday, April 25, and the final four rounds (Rounds 4 through 7) take place on Saturday, April 26.
Where is the 2025 NFL draft?
Green Bay, Wisconsin, is the host of the 2025 NFL draft. Draft events, including the fan experience, will take place at Lambeau Field and the Titletown district of the city.
This draft will be the second in a row hosted by an NFC North team. Detroit – home of the Lions – was the host city last year.
