The 2025 NFL Draft will take place from Thursday, April 24, to Saturday, April 26.

After months of speculation, combine workouts, pro days and rumors, the NFL draft is here with a bevy of young talent set to join the professional ranks.

The Titans are on the clock, and there's not much mystery about who will go No. 1 overall. It appears to be Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward headed to Nashville.

However after that, it's anyone guess which prospects will come off of the board during the first round.

On the first day of the draft, only the first round will be held, featuring 32 picks.

When is Round 1 of NFL Draft?

The first round of the 2025 NFL Draft will kick off on Thursday, April 24. The draft is slated to get underway at 8 p.m. ET.

The second and third rounds occur the following day, and the draft will conclude on Day 3 with Rounds 4 through 7 on Saturday, April 26.

What time is Round 1 of NFL Draft?

Here is the scheduled start time for the first round:

  • Thursday, April 24: Round 1, 8 p.m. ET

What time will the first NFL draft pick be?

The first pick of the 2025 NFL Draft will be announced shortly after the draft begins at 8 p.m. ET. Typically, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell opens the event with a brief speech before declaring that the team with the No. 1 pick is "on the clock."

This year, the Titans own the first pick and will have 10 minutes to make their selection. The first pick of the draft should be announced between 8:10 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. ET.
