Time flies when you're having fun, apparently.

It's already been one trip around the sun since the 2024 NFL Draft, meaning those wide-eyed rookies are quickly turning into the seasoned veterans.

The Tennessee Titans are prepared to make their selection to kick off the 2025 NFL Draft in style, adding the next member to the No. 1 pick club. The likely selection, Miami's Cam Ward, will find himself joining a club of quarterbacks that face great expectations upon entering the league.

Here's a look back in time to 2024.

Who was the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft?

Caleb Williams was drafted by the Chicago Bears with the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

His rookie season was mostly a nightmare, considering the Bears were one of the most dysfunctional teams in the league.

Chicago fired head coach Matt Eberflus following a loss on Thanksgiving, paving the way for the team to hire Ben Johnson this offseason. The now-former Detroit Lions offensive coordinator has already put his stamp on the squad despite his limited time in the Windy City.

The Bears have remodeled their offensive line, working to build the trenches to avoid a repeat of 2024.

Williams found himself on the ground a lot in his rookie year, receiving a rude welcome to the league after being sacked an NFL-high 68 times.

While he wasn't necessarily the prince that was promised, Williams managed to start all 17 games. He turned in a 5-12 record, completed 62.5% of passes while tossing 20 touchdowns to only six interceptions.

The quarterback finished 10th in rookie of the year voting, showing plenty of flashes and promise that have Bears fans believing.

Now it's up to Williams to deliver on that in his second season.
