It's said that running backs don't get paid. Those people never met Ashton Jeanty though.
The Las Vegas Raiders invested the No. 6 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft in the Boise State running back, adding a dimension to the offense that was sorely lacking.
With the quarterback position solved following the acquisition of Geno Smith, running back became a potential position to target for the Raiders in the opening round. Vegas only had Raheem Mostert, Sincere McCormick and Zamir White as part of its running back room prior to the pick.
The Heisman Trophy runner-up Jeanty will have the chance to step in and contribute right away.
Here's a look at the contract that Jeanty receives upon his arrival in the NFL.
Ashton Jeanty contract details
NFL rookie contracts are slotted based on draft position, meaning Jeanty is slated to earn around $32 million over the course of his fully guaranteed rookie deal.
