Las Vegas Raiders NFL draft picks 2025: Full list of team's round-by-round selections

The Las Vegas Raiders are really starting to identify with their city.
Fresh off another disappointing season, the Raiders have entered the NFL's casino with an eye towards turning their fortunes around.
The club has tapped a pair of now-former Seattle Seahawks to lead the team going forward, going all-in with Geno Smith at quarterback and Pete Carroll as the head coach. Those decisions have seemingly transformed the way the Raiders will operate going forward, ending a rebuild and kickstarting what figures to be a win-now approach.
That line of thinking might be problematic for a team like that Raiders that features plenty of holes on offense and defense. After all, there is a reason they're drafting in the top-10.
However, things change fast in the NFL. Yesterday's bad team could be tomorrow's champion. Whether the Raiders can draft well enough to enter that conversation remains to be seen, but that's why hope springs eternal this time of year.
Here's a look at the Raiders' draft picks and needs in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Raiders 2025 NFL Draft picks
The Raiders come into the draft with nine picks, which begins at sixth overall. Vegas also owned the 92nd pick, which they acquired in the trade that sent Davante Adams to the New York Jets. However, that pick was later dealt to the Seahawks for Geno Smith. Regardless, the Raiders were able to add two compensatory picks to their treasure chest in 2025.
Here's the complete list:
- Round 1, Pick 6: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Analysis from Paste BN Sports' Nate Davis: Despite his obvious talent, the 2024 Heisman runner-up – basically by virtue of his position – becomes just the second tailback picked in the top 10 since in the past seven drafts (Bijan Robinson is the other). Jeanty rushed for 2,601 yards last season – 28 shy of breaking Barry Sanders’ single-season NCAA record – and will definitely be an upgrade from anything that was on the Silver and Black's roster.
Production has been no issue for Jeanty, who’s rushed for nearly 4,000 yards over the past two seasons, scoring 49 touchdowns during that time frame (including 30 in 2024). A compact package (5-9, 211) of muscle and speed, Jeanty is an explosive, powerful runner – he broken an FBS-leading 88 tackles in 2024 and racked up 1,733 yards after contact (which also would’ve been enough rushing yards to top the FBS). And while he had 12 runs exceeding 50 yards last season, he’s also a solid receiver – his 569 receiving yards in 2023 the most among FBS backs.
With 660 touches since 2023, Jeanty’s usage has been insane, and he does need to clean up a minor fumbling issue. But QB Geno Smith and TE Brock Bowers will at least draw some of the focus from Jeanty, who could be Marshawn Lynch 2.0 for run-loving head coach Pete Carroll.
- Round 2, Pick 58: Jack Bech, WR, TCU
Analysis from Paste BN Sports' Nate Davis: He's became very well known after the death of his brother, Tiger Bech, formerly a wideout at Princeton, during the terrorist attack in New Orleans on New Year's Day. But Jack Bech is a heckuva a football player on merit, catching the winning TD pass in this year's Senior Bowl. After playing with Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas at LSU, Bech transferred and really burst onto the scene for the Horned Frogs in 2024, catching 62 balls for 1,034 yards and nine TDs. Bech (6-1, 214) isn't necessarily Raider fast, but he should be a great asset for a wideout corps that needs help.
- Round 3, Pick 68: Darien Porter, CB, Iowa State
Analysis from Paste BN Sports' Nate Davis: At 6-3, 195 pounds with 4.3 speed, he very much profiles as a Pete Carroll corner. Yet Porter only picked off three passes in six college seasons, all of them coming last year.
- Round 3, Pick 98: Caleb Rogers, G, Texas Tech
Analysis from Paste BN Sports' Nate Davis: His position flex is an asset, Rogers with extensive snaps at every O-line spot for the Red Raiders but center. But his short arms almost surely mean he’ll have to make his bones primarily at guard in the NFL.
- Round 3, Pick 99: Charles Grant, OT, William & Mary
Analysis from Paste BN Sports' Nate Davis: He’s got the wrestling background predictive of success for so many NFL O-linemen. Despite the small-school background with the Tribe, he’s got NFL size (6-5, 311) and lands with a team not exactly settled on the right side.
- Round 4, Pick 108: Dont'e Thornton Jr., WR, Tennessee
- Round 4, Pick 135: Tonka Hemingway, DT, South Carolina
- Round 6, Pick 180: JJ Pegues, DT, Ole Miss
- Round 6, Pick 213 (compensatory): Tommy Mellott, QB, Montana State
- Round 6, Pick 215 (compensatory): Cam Miller, QB, North Dakota State
- Round 7, Pick 222: Cody Lindenberg, LB, Minnesota
Raiders 2025 NFL draft needs
Wide receiver
The Raiders look like a team that wants to compete, kicking their rebuild into high gear. Yet the receivers on the squad don't match that idea. Pete Carroll wants a team that will run the ball, but they need capable receivers as well. With a lack of depth there, this is a big need on offense.
Running back
A team that wants to run doesn't have a running back. That might be a problem. Vegas seems like a prime landing spot for Ashton Jeanty, but they'll undoubtedly address the running back spot during the draft.
Offensive line
Even the best teams can always add more offensive lineman, but the Raiders aren't a team that fall into that category. Their line was in need of a remodel this offseason, which has been mostly accomplished. However, there aren't many known quantities to work with and a run-first team will need a solid group up front to accomplish that goal.
Raiders 2025 NFL mock draft
Here's what the Raiders could do come draft night, according to Paste BN Sports' Ayrton Ostly:
- Round 1, Pick 6: WR Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona
- The Raiders traded for Geno Smith and provide him an upgrade on the outside who will help take attention away from star tight end Brock Bowers. Running back was in contention but can be addressed later on thanks to a deep class.
- Round 2, Pick 37: RB Omarion Hampton, North Carolina
- Ashton Jeanty gets the attention as the top running back in the class but Hampton could make a jump in the NFL compared to college thanks to a better offensive line. He's an all-around star prospect at the position.
- Round 3, Pick 68: DT Omarr Norman-Lott, Tennessee
- Round 4, Pick 108: CB Tommi Hill, Nebraska
- Round 5, Pick 143: OT Ajani Cornelius, Oregon
- Round 6, Pick 180: Edge Que Robinson, Alabama
- Round 6, Pick 213: WR Dominic Lovett, Georgia
- Round 6, Pick 215: QB Will Howard, Ohio State
- Round 7, Pick 222: CB Jaylin Smith, USC
