2025 Eagles NFL draft grades: Grades for every Philadelphia selection

The Philadelphia Eagles are going back to work.
Two months ago, Philadelphia was hoisting their second Lombardi Trophy in franchise history after winning Super Bowl 59. Two months later, it's about drafting the right players so they can make a run at winning Super Bowl 60.
It will all start coming together at the NFL draft, especially for a team like the Eagles. The team's on-field success can be directly tracked back to their ability to identify talent in the draft. Just one year ago, Philadelphia snagged Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean, who played key roles in the Super Bowl.
Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith are two more big-time contributors, along with four starters on the offensive line who all received an Eagles' hat on draft night.
Homegrown talent has built the Eagles and made them into arguably the league's best team. After losing some players this offseason to free agency, they'll look to do what they do best – replenish their roster in the draft.
Paste BN Sports is giving out grades during the 2025 NFL Draft. Here's a look at the Eagles' report card.
Eagles NFL draft grades
Round 1, Pick 31: Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
- Ayrton Ostly, Paste BN Sports: B
Philadelphia moves up a spot to select one of the best prospects, regardless of position, in the class. Campbell has the build of a modern linebacker at 6-foot-3 and 233 pounds. He's a thumping hitter in run defense and has the athleticism to cover. This is a curious pick considering the Eagles just gave linebacker Zack Baun an extension but Campbell could be used more as a pass rusher than during his time at Alabama.
- Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz, Paste BN Sports, B+
Did Howie Roseman do it again? The architect of the defending champs might have netted another defensive difference-maker who slipped past the point many expected him to be drafted. Campbell might not make the immediate impact that Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean, but his extensive range and abundant athleticism point to him becoming Roseman's latest hit.
Round 2, Pick 64: Andrew Mukuba, S, Texas
Howie Roseman deserves the benefit of the doubt on secondary picks after he aced last year's haul of Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean. But despite his instinctive coverage skills, Mukuba shapes up as a potential liability as a tackler while offering a pedestrian athletic profile.
The Eagles' lone weak point on the roster may be safety after trading away C.J. Gardner-Johnson. Mukuba is undersized at 5-foot-11 and 186 pounds which may show up in the NFL more than in college. He had great ball production and shows an impressive commitment to run defense despite his smaller frame. There were other safeties on the board that likely would've been a better fit, though.
Round 4, Pick 111: Ty Robinson, DT, Nebraska
Robinson is slightly undersized for a defensive tackle at just 288 pounds but he's very explosive and athletic enough to work on stunts and other games on the defensive line. He'll be a great addition to the defensive line rotation as a rookie.
Round 5, Pick 145: Mac McWilliams, CB, UCF
McWilliams stands 5-foot-10 and 202 pounds and he likely will be stuck at the nickel cornerback spot in the NFL. That's okay for the Eagles with proven players on the outside. He'll be a solid depth at the very least as a rookie and injury-proof the secondary.
Round 5, Pick 161: Smael Mondon, LB, Georgia
The Eagles get another linebacker in the class and return to the reliable flow of Georgia players that they've tapped for years. Mondon is an outstanding athlete at 6-foot-2 and 229 pounds and that shows up on tape in coverage. He has great potential but injury concerns likely caused him to fall farther than anticipated.
Round 5, Pick 168: Drew Kendall, C, Boston College
The Eagles' investments in the offensive line means they can make luxury picks late on in Round 5. Kendall is one of the best centers in the class and is an athletic run blocker with three years of starting experience. He'll be a valuable depth piece and injury insurance for the defending champions.
Round 6, Pick 181: Kyle McCord, QB, Syracuse
Philadelphia already has three quarterbacks on the roster and McCord is unlike any of them. The Syracuse passer led the country in passing yards in 2024 and operates as a point guard who distributes the ball accurately and on time to his receivers. That could be a good fit as a long-term backup in Philadelphia behind Tanner McKee and Jalen Hurts.
Round 6, Pick 191: Myles Hinton, OT, Michigan
Philadelphia has arguably the top tackle tandem in the league. Right tackle Lane Johnson is getting up there in age, though, so this could be a move to plan for the future once he retires. Hinton has the size at 6-foot-7, 325 pounds and an 82 3/4-inch wingspan to stick at tackle in the NFL. His strength and footwork are there as well. He just needs development and he's in the perfect place to do it.
Round 6, Pick 207: Cameron Williams, OT, Texas
Philadelphia somehow does it again by getting a Round 2-level prospect in the back half of Round 6. Williams is very raw with just one season of starting experience but has rare movement abilities for his 6-foot-6, 317-pound frame. He could become a long-term answer at tackle or guard given his athletic profile and it's an embarrassment of riches for the defending Super Bowl champions.
Round 6, Pick 209: Antwaun Powell-Ryland, Edge, Virginia Tech
Powell-Ryland posted great numbers at Virginia Tech despite lacking elite tools in his 6-foot-2, 264-pound frame. His shorter arms will likely limit his effectiveness at the NFL level but he has undeniable linear speed. He'll need to improve in run defense to stick in the NFL.
