There have probably been some sleepless nights in Seattle this offseason.

For a Seattle Seahawks team that has been a model of consistency through the years, the "12s" will have to get used to some new faces in 2025.

Tyler Lockett was released, DK Metcalf was traded and Geno Smith was dealt, as well.

The replacements for that trio came in the form of Sam Darnold, Cooper Kupp and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, so Seattle didn't necessarily get much younger in the swap.

Instead, they are betting on Darnold's breakout season being the expectation going forward, while kicking the tires on a pair of veteran receivers. While not a complete rebuild, it's clear there is a retool happening in the Emerald City.

The Seahawks are under construction. With plenty of picks to work with, they could be finishing that project earlier than expected.

Here's what to know about the Seahawks' picks in the 2025 NFL draft.

Seahawks 2025 NFL draft picks

The Seahawks are armed with 10 picks in the 2025 NFL draft after all their wheeling-and-dealing this offseason. Of those, six fall into the first four rounds, giving Seattle a chance to continue reshaping their roster. They acquired Picks 52 and 223 from Pittsburgh in exchange for Metcalf, while Pick 92 came from the Raiders in the Smith deal.

Here's the complete list:

  • Round 1, Pick 18: Grey Zabel, OL, North Dakota State

Analysis from Paste BN Sports' Nate Davis: The 6-6, 312-pound Senior Bowl standout can play every position on the offensive line … and Seattle seems to have an opening at every spot save LT Charles Cross's. Zabel's arrival dovetails with a team that's been recalibrating toward toughness and what will likely be a more run-centric offensive approach in 2025.

  • Round 2, Pick 35 (from Tennessee): Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina

Analysis from Paste BN Sports' Nate Davis: He'll immediately remind Seattle fans of former "Legion of Boom" mega safety Kam Chancellor, though Emmanwori is more athletic. An All-American in 2024, Emmanwori has size (6-3, 220) comparable to Chancellor's – yet ridiculous physical metrics After running a 4.38 40 and posting a vertical jump of 43 inches, he was one of the combine's 2025 stars. And given that speed, maybe not a surprise he returned half of his four picks last season for TDs. The Seahawks defense is quickly rounding into the physical form second-year Mike Macdonald wants.

  • Round 2, Pick 50: Elijah Arroyo, TE, Miami

Analysis from Paste BN Sports' Nate Davis: A big play waiting to happen, Arroyo averaged better than 16 yards per catch in four seasons with the 'Canes ... when he was healthy enough to play, which wasn't often before 2024 (though Cam Ward's arrival helped).

  • Round 3, Pick 92 (from Detroit through New York Jets and Las Vegas): Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama

Analysis from Paste BN Sports' Nate Davis: A second-team All-SEC pick two years ago before regressing in 2024, he’s a compact (6-2, 217) but raw passer with questionable decision-making who’s absolutely an elite, explosive player when he’s running the ball. Accuracy and touch are issues, arm strength and toughness are not. Nick Saban’s final QB in Tuscaloosa, Milroe passed for 39 TDs and rushed for 32 over the past two seasons but was picked off 11 times in 2024. After playing for three offensive coordinators in college, some continuity and a mentor at the pro level, which Milroe welcomes, could really help – even if he accepts some kind of “Slash” role early on. But if his development accelerates, recently signed Sam Darnold is hardly an institution here … and Macdonald, after all, saw first-hand in Baltimore what a multi-threat QB like Lamar Jackson can do.

  • Round 5, Pick 142 (from Vikings): Rylie Mills, DT, Notre Dame
  • Round 5, Pick 166: Tory Horton, WR, Colorado State
  • Round 5, Pick 175 (compensatory): Robbie Ouzts, TE, Alabamay
  • Round 6, Pick 192: Bryce Cabeldue, IOL, Kansas
  • Round 7, Pick 223: Damien Martinez, RB, Miami (FL)
  • Round 7, Pick 234: Mason Richman, OT, Iowa
  • Round 7, Pick 238: Ricky White III, WR, UNLV

Seahawks 2025 NFL draft needs

Offensive line

The Seahawks offensive line has been a problem for what feels like forever. In order to rebuild the team in Mike Macdonald's vision, that will have to begin in the trenches. It would also do wonders for fixing the offense, especially after bringing in Darnold. Limiting the pressure and opening up running lanes in a must for the group up front on offense this season.

Wide receiver

Kupp is a fine signing, but his injury history makes him a bit of an unknown. The Seahawks will need some additional depth and youth in the room, which can eventually take over for Kupp and Valdes-Scantling.

Defensive back

Seattle's secondary has plenty of question marks following the 2025 season, with just Devon Witherspoon and 2024 fifth-round pick Nehemiah Pritchett under contract at the cornerback spot in 2026. Seattle could use their excess of picks to reinvest in those positions as they continue to reshape their team.

Seahawks 2025 NFL mock draft

Here's what the Seahawks could do come draft night, according to Paste BN Sports' Ayrton Ostly:

  • Round 1, Pick 18: WR Matthew Golden, Texas
    • The Seahawks signed Cooper Kupp and Marquez Valdes-Scantling in free agency but both are aging options on the outside. Golden's mix of speed, route running and bounce will be a skillset worth investing in for the future alongside Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
  • Round 2, Pick 50: IOL Marcus Mbow, Purdue
    • The Seahawks address the interior in Round 2 with the Purdue product. Mbow has a pro-ready skillset but his lean frame and arm length will likely force him inside at the NFL level.
  • Round 2, Pick 52: Edge Nic Scourton, Texas A&M
    • Seattle gets a great value pick here with the productive edge rusher from Texas A&M. Scourton won't blow you away with athleticism but sets the edge, has pass rush moves already and plays with a high motor.
  • Round 3, Pick 82: LB Demetrius Knight, South Carolina
  • Round 3, Pick 92: CB Nohl Williams, Cal
  • Round 4, Pick 137: G Jackson Slater, Sacramento State
  • Round 5, Pick 172: OT Hollin Pierce, Rutgers
  • Round 5, Pick 175: TE Mitchell Evans, Notre Dame
  • Round 7, Pick 223: LB Kobe King, Penn State
  • Round 7, Pick 234: QB Kurtis Rourke, Indiana
