Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL draft picks 2025: Full list of team's round-by-round selections

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have done a fine job of keeping the ship afloat in the post-Tom Brady years.
Now it's time for them to start pointing it in the right direction.
Tampa Bay has captured the NFC South crown in four consecutive seasons, including back-to-back years since Brady retired. However, they've only been able to alternate early exits in the division and wild-card rounds in that time.
In a classic case of good but not good enough, the Buccaneers will look to parlay some draft wins into a couple more in the postseason next year. As they continue their quest for another Lombardi Trophy, nailing the draft is a great way to catapult the team from good to great.
Here's what to know about the Buccaneers' picks in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Buccaneers 2025 NFL Draft picks
The Buccaneers head into draft night owning six picks. Tampa wasn't awarded any compensatory picks and didn't acquire any selections via trade, so the Buccaneers will need to swing some deals if they hope to have more throws at the dart board.
Here's the complete list:
- Round 1, Pick 19: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
Analysis from Paste BN Sports' Nate Davis: High character, high production – his 205 catches the most ever by a Buckeyes player. Egbuka should give the Bucs quite a wideout trifecta as he teams with WRs Mike Evans and Chris Godwin moving forward – especially since he and Godwin can work interchangeably from the slot.
- Round 2, Pick 53: Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame
Analysis from Paste BN Sports' Nate Davis: He picked off nine passes during his first two seasons with the Irish before a hip injury sidelined him in 2024. Now healthy, his ball skills, smarts and size (6 feet, 193 pounds) provided a safe landing in Round 2 and on a team that saw its secondary decimated by injuries in 2024.
- Round 3, Pick 84: Jacob Parrish, CB, Kansas State
Analysis from Paste BN Sports' Nate Davis: The Bucs continue to amass depth in their secondary after taking Morrison in Round 2. Parrish had more INTs (5) than TDs allowed (4) the past two seasons.
- Round 4, Pick 121: David Walker, edge, Central Arkansas
Analysis from Paste BN Sports' Jacob Camenker: Walker is undersized for the edge at 6-1, 231 pounds, but was highly productive playing in the FCS. He had 10.5 sacks during his final season and Todd Bowles should be able to figure out how to best use his explosiveness in a rotational setting. Walker starred at the Senior Bowl, helping instill confidence he can hold up against higher-end prospects.
- Round 5, Pick 157: Elijah Roberts, edge, SMU
- Round 7, Pick 235: Tez Johnson, WR, Oregon
Buccaneers 2025 NFL draft needs
Edge rusher
Todd Bowles isn't one to shy away from sending the blitz, but that can't be the only way for the Buccaneers to generate some pressure. Their big addition to this positional group so far has been Haason Reddick, who was a major disappointment for the New York Jets. Whether Reddick returns to form remains to be seen, but Tampa Bay needs someone off the edge that can cause some sleepless nights for the opposition.
Linebacker
Injecting some young talent into Bowles' defense is going to be a theme at the draft this year. Lavonte David is 35, highlighting the need for someone that can represent a changing of the guard. Bowles demands a lot of his linebackers, so targeting a successor would make sense with David back in the fold for 2025.
Cornerback
The Buccaneers don't possess a lot of depth in the secondary, especially at the cornerback spot. They didn't address the issue in free agency as the market proved to be expensive, so the need for talent and depth remains.
Buccaneers 2025 NFL mock draft
Here's what the Buccaneers could do come draft night, according to Paste BN Sports' Ayrton Ostly:
- Round 1, Pick 19: LB Jihaad Campbell, Alabama
- Tampa Bay gets the top pure linebacker in the class in Campbell. He's built like a prototypical modern linebacker and can take the reigns from Lavonte David in time. There's room for him to develop off the edge, too.
- Round 2, Pick 53: Edge Princely Umanmielen, Ole Miss
- The Ole Miss product has a finesse game that should translate immediately to the NFL level. His burst off the line and long arms could make him an impact pass rusher sooner than later.
- Round 3, Pick 84: CB Denzel Burke, Ohio State
- Round 4, Pick 121: S Jonas Sanker, Virginia
- Round 5, Pick 157: WR Pat Bryant, Illinois
- Round 7, Pick 235: Edge Phillip Webb, Jackson State
