Tennessee Titans NFL draft picks 2025: Full list of team's round-by-round selections

Nashville might be the country music capital of the world, but the Tennessee Titans have been singing the blues more often in recent history.
Tennessee has missed the playoffs in three consecutive seasons after their three-year run as contenders from 2019 to 2021. As a result, the roster has been no stranger to turnover. Coaches haven't been spared, either.
Out went Mike Vrabel and in came a new coaching staff headlined by Brian Callahan.
However, the results thus far aren't necessarily encouraging. The hope is that the turnaround will begin at the 2025 NFL Draft, where the Titans own the top selection.
They spent that pick on Miami's Cam Ward, hoping to fix the quarterback position for years to come.
While Nashville is a star-studded city, that hasn't extended to their football team through the years. The Titans will look to change that by nailing the draft with their new general manager, Mike Borgonzi, calling the shots.
Here's a look at the Titans' draft picks and needs in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Titans 2025 NFL Draft picks
The Titans enter draft night with eight picks to use. It all starts with the crown jewel of any draft, owning the first pick. They will have the luxury of drafting five times in Rounds 2 through 5, but don't currently own a third-round selection. Tennessee could easily use those picks to wheel-and-deal to move around the board, potentially recouping some additional picks.
Here's the complete list:
- Round 1, Pick 1: Cam Ward, QB, Miami
Analysis from Paste BN Sports' Nate Davis: A franchise that’s never drafted a quarterback with the No. 1 overall pick (and nobody at the very top since Hall of Famer Earl Campbell in 1978) clearly hopes to have its new face – and, at minimum, its first star behind center since former league MVP Steve McNair. Ward (6-2, 219), who played for three collegiate programs in five years, turns 23 next month – but his experience and, more importantly perhaps, leadership should greatly benefit a Titans team in need of an identity following consecutive last-place finishes in the AFC South.
Ward isn’t a dynamic runner but is certainly a capable athlete who often makes plays with his arms and legs outside of the pocket. But the 2024 All-American and ACC Player of the Year is being selected here because of an alpha personality and a dynamic arm, one that produced a Division 1 record 158 TD passes. He’ll need to leverage all of his estimable abilities on and off the field to turn around a franchise that needs him to stop its free fall. Interesting to note, too, that Ward’s 2,329 passes attempted in college are at least 1,000 more than highly erratic Will Levis, Tennessee’s primary starter the past two seasons, has thrown since he entered college in 2018 – Wards’ results typically much better, too, if not skewed by Levis’ NFL mishaps (26 turnovers in 21 NFL games).
This is the culmination of an astronomical rise for Ward, a zero-star recruit while playing in a Wing-T offense in high school who played at FCS-level Incarnate Word for two years before transferring to Washington State and then Miami. He enters the NFL with 57 college starts. And given his gunslinger proclivity – which does sometimes put Ward and his team into hairy spots – good bet he could join Warren Moon as this franchise’s second 4,000-yard passer. However Ward’s impeccable timing should also be noted relative to what are sure to be outsized expectations in Nashville – but if he’d been drafted in last year’s draft rather than this one, Ward might have been the sixth or seventh quarterback off the board instead of the first.
- Round 2, Pick 52 (from Seattle): Oluwafemi Oladejo, EDGE, UCLA
Analysis from Paste BN Sports' Nate Davis: He had his most productive season in 2024 with 4½ sacks and 14 TFLs, the former off-ball LB converting to the edge. Should be an early opportunity to play in Nashville following the departure of OLB Harold Landry III.
- Round 3, Pick 82 (from Seattle): Kevin Winston Jr., S, Penn State
Analysis from Paste BN Sports' Nate Davis: Good size (6-2, 215) but not much ball production or splash plays. Expect him to live in the box.
- Round 4, Pick 103: Chimere Dike, WR, Florida
- Round 4, Pick 120 (from Seattle): Gunnar Helm, TE, Texas
Analysis from Paste BN Sports' Jacob Camenker: Helm emerged as a vertical threat down the seam in his final season at Texas. He became a favorite target of Quinn Ewers, logging a team-best 60 receptions, and has good hands, making him a viable receiving threat at the next level. Cam Ward should enjoy throwing to him during their respective rookie seasons.
- Round 4, Pick 136: Elic Ayomanor, WR, Stanford
Analysis from Paste BN Sports' Jacob Camenker: Ayomanor has great size (6-2, 206 pounds), length and was a vertical playmker in college at Stanford. He generated 293 yards in a 2023 game against Colorado while largely being guarded by Travis Hunter. Ayomanor should be another quality playmaker for the Titans to install around Cam Ward.
- Round 5: Pick 167 (from Kansas City): Jackson Slater, OG, Sacramento State
- Round 6: Pick 183 (from CAR through BAL): Marcus Harris, CB, Cal
- Round 6: Pick 188 (from DAL): Kalel Mullings, RB, Michigan
Titans 2025 NFL Draft needs
Quarterback
You can't win without a quarterback in the NFL and the Titans don't have one. Tennessee has seen some serviceable signal callers over the years, but hasn't experienced life with a star in a long time. The organization has the fix this issue if they hope to compete moving forward, especially as they get set to open a new stadium in a few years.
Wide receiver
Calvin Ridley is a fine receiver, but he won't be able to do it alone. The Titans lack of depth at the position is also coupled with a need for an injection of talent. Whoever the quarterback ends up being, they'll need someone to throw the ball to. Fixing that position group should be a priority.
Edge rusher
While offense should be the focus, the Titans bid farewell to Harold Landry III this offseason. They'll need someone to get after the quarterback and need to invest some picks into improving the defense as well.
Titans 2025 NFL mock draft
Here's what the Titans could do come draft night, according to Paste BN Sports' Ayrton Ostly:
- Round 1, Pick 1: QB Cam Ward, Miami
- Tennessee takes the top prospect at the most important position in football. Ward offers mobility, elite arm talent and an aggressive attitude with a track record of development.
- Round 2: Pick 35: WR Jayden Higgins, Iowa State
- Titans coach Brian Callahan saw firsthand the impact of pairing a rookie quarterback with a big-bodied receiver at the top of the second round in Cincinnati in 2020. Tennessee emulates that with Higgins here, a big-bodied pass catcher who could work either outside or as a power slot.
- Round 4: Pick 103: Edge Sai'vion Jones, LSU
- Round 4: Pick 120: WR Xavier Restrepo, Miami
- Round 5: Pick 141: LB Teddye Buchanan, Cal
- Round 5: Pick 167: RB Phil Mafah, Clemson
- Round 6: Pick 178: S Sebastian Castro, Iowa
- Round 6: Pick 188: DL Elijah Roberts, SMU
