DeSean Jackson confirms firing of Drew Rosenhaus
PHILADELPHIA — DeSean Jackson has confirmed that Drew Rosenhaus is no longer his agent.
The Philadelphia Eagles' two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver says he hasn't decided on new representation, despite reports he's leaning toward Jay-Z's Roc Nation Sports.
"I don't know right now," Jackson told reporters Tuesday. "It's a lot of thoughts. The (reports) are what they are, but coming out of my mouth, I don't know yet."
Jackson cited "personal issues" for dismissing Rosenhaus, who negotiated a $51 million, five-year deal for him last March.
Yahoo! Sports has reported that Rosenhaus has filed a grievance with the NFLPA, alleging that Jackson owes him $400,000 in unpaid loans.
Jackson owns a record label and is a hopeful rapper. Perhaps hiring a hip-hop mogul could help his music career.
"I don't know, what do you think?" Jackson said. "I don't know, man. Might be."
