Eagles' Darren Sproles has torn ACL and broken arm

The Philadelphia Eagles won't have versatile running back Darren Sproles for the rest of the season.
Sproles suffered both a torn anterior cruciate ligament and a broken forearm in Sunday’s game against the New York Giants, Eagles coach Doug Pederson confirmed.
Pederson called the injury a "devastating loss."

Sproles, 34, had 61 rushing yards this season before he was injured in the first half. Sproles clutched both his knee and his wrist.
The injury leaves the Eagles thin at running back, with just LeGarrette Blount and Wendell Smallwood and undrafted rookie free agent Corey Clement on the active roster, and without one of their most versatile offensive weapons. The undersized-but-speedy Sproles has been a mismatch issue for defenses for more than a decade, both as a ball carrier and a receiver.
