Houston (3-13-1) will have the No. 2 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft after a 32-31 win over the Colts in Week 18.

In his first season as defensive coordinator, the Eagles surrendered 5.2 yards per play, tied for the seventh fewest in the league. They were tied with the Bears and Panthers for 16 takeaways, fifth fewest in the NFL.

This season, the Eagles defense was among the top units in the NFL. Philadelphia finished first in total defense, first in pass defense, and eighth in the NFL in points allowed.

The Texans fired Lovie Smith after one season. Houston is now looking for its third head coach in three seasons. Texans general manager has hired Smith and David Culley in his tenure at the helm.

This offseason, Gannon will be a hot commodity. He is considered an upcoming head coaching candidate. The Texans could be in prime position to draft a quarterback as they rebuild their franchise.
