The hits keep coming for the New York Giants.

The team placed cornerback Janoris Jenkins on season-ending injured reserve on Wednesday. Jenkins is set to undergo surgery on his ankle.

Jenkins was a Pro Bowl selection in 2016 but has had a rocky season. He was suspended by the Giants on Nov. 1 after failing to return from the bye week on time. He missed one game - a 51-17 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

The 2-9 Giants currently have 19 players on injured reserve, including five that went on the list this week.
