The Jaguars continue to strip away their veteran talent in exchange for draft picks.

On Thursday, the Jaguars traded third-year safety Ronnie Harrison to the Cleveland Brown in exchange for a 2021 fifth-round NFL draft pick, the franchise announced.

Harrison joins an extended list of veteran players that have been shown the door by the Jaguars in trades since March.

Former defensive captain Calais Campbell (Baltimore Ravens), quarterback Nick Foles (Chicago Bears), cornerback A.J. Bouye (Denver Broncos), and defensive end Yannick Ngkaoue (Minnesota Vikings) all were traded in recent months.

Lead running back Leonard Fournette was waived by the team on Monday.

The Browns had a need at safety after rookie Grant Delpit ruptured his Achilles, sidelining him for the 2020 campaign.
