This is the last piece of news the New York Jets wanted to see. Running back Breece Hall suffered a knee injury in the first half of Sunday's Week 7 game against the Denver Broncos and was ruled out for the remainder of the game.
Hall suffered the injury late in the second quarter and tried to walk back to the locker room but ultimately required the medical cart to bring him to the locker room. The rookie, who ran for a 62-yard touchdown in the game, was quickly ruled out for the rest of the game.
It's an unfortunate turn of events for Hall, who was really starting to come on strong and was making his case as a contender for Offensive Rookie of the Year. Michael Carter will now be back as the lead back for the Jets.
