How successful has Robert Saleh been in his head coaching career?
The New York Jets' head coach is in the 20th year of his NFL coaching career, spanning back to his initial hiring in 2005 as a defensive intern with the Houston Texans.
Between that job as a defensive intern and his current role as New York's head coach, Saleh rose up the coaching ranks as a member of three other team's staffs. He was a defensive quality control coach for the Seattle Seahawks, a linebackers coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars and a defensive coordinator with the San Francisco 49ers.

Saleh is now in his fourth year as the head coach of the Jets and has yet to lead the team to the postseason. He has also been unable to pull New York out of the bottom rungs of the AFC East, where it has never finished better than third place.

Robert Saleh contract
