2024 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds: Caleb Williams with a massive preseason lead

This year's NFL rookie class is one of the most stacked in recent memory. There were eight offensive players taken in the draft before the first defensive player. Six quarterbacks were taken in the first 12 picks, and even though one of those quarterbacks will miss the entirety of the 2024-25 season, and another will sit behind Kirk Cousins this year, there is still a lot of intrigue surrounding the upcoming Offensive Rookie of the Year race.
Can the reigning Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels maintain his superiority? Can Caleb Williams prove why he was the most highly-touted quarterback prospect since Trevor Lawrence? Can Bo Nix prove everyone wrong and show that the Broncos did not reach when they took him 12th overall?
Each one of those guys has done surprisingly well in training camp and we haven't even reached the receivers that could make serious impacts as well. Here are the players with the best odds heading into the regular season.

2024 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds:
Odds according to BetMGM:
The favorites:
- QB Caleb Williams, CHI, +130
- QB Jayden Daniels, WAS, +500
- WR Marvin Harrison Jr., ARI, +750
- QB Bo Nix, DEN, +900
- WR Malik Nabers, NYG, +1300
Training camp has been abuzz with news of each of these players. Each of them has shown incredible promise and have earned their teams' top spot heading into Week 1 of the regular season.
Among these players, Jayden Daniels is likely the best bang for your buck. Dual-threat quarterbacks tend to be favored more in awards voting than pure pocket pressers, and boy can Daniels run. He won the Heisman Trophy because of his incredible speed, and although his team just traded away one of his top receivers, he still has Terry McLaurin and a loaded running back room to take some of the weight of carrying the Commanders' ground game off him.
The sleepers:
- WR Xavier Worthy, KC, +2000
- WR Keon Coleman, BUF, +3000
- QB Drake Maye, NE, +3500
- WR Ladd McConkey, LAC, +3500
- WR Rome Odunze, CHI, +4000
- TE Brock Bowers, LV, +5000
- WR Brian Thomas Jr., JAX, +5000
- WR Ricky Pearsall, SF, +5000

With the injury to Marquise Brown, Xavier Worthy has a clear shot at Kansas City's top wideout spot immediately. Worthy has impressed in training camp as well and his connection with quarterback Patrick Mahomes during preseason games has been spectacular to watch.
The longshots:
- QB Michael Penix Jr., ATL, +6600
- RB Jaylen Wright, MIA, +6600
- RB Trey Benson, ARI, +6600
- WR Adonai Mitchell, IND, +6600
- RB Blake Corum, LAR, +6600
- WR Xavier Legette, CAR, +6600
- WR Jermaine Burton, CIN, +6600
- RB MarShawn Lloyd, GB, +6600
- RB Jonathon Brooks, CAR, +8000
- WR Ja'Lynn Polk, NE, +8000
- WR Malachi Corley, NYJ, +8000
Although Jonathon Brooks is set to miss the first few weeks of the regular season, he is an immensely talented back that will have Carolina's backfield almost entirely to himself once he returns from injury. Yes, being surrounded by Carolina's abysmal offense is worrisome, but new Panthers' head coach Dave Canales is just one year removed from giving Rachaad White 272 carries in Tampa Bay. Brooks will get a lot of work in Carolina.
