With snowstorm expected in Green Bay, Packers need 700 people to shovel Lambeau Field before playoff game vs. Seahawks
GREEN BAY — The Packers need 700 people to shovel out the seats Lambeau Field beginning 6 a.m. Sunday before the Packers-Seahawks NFC divisional round playoff game.
The field and stands will be in need of snow removal following an expected snow storm Saturday night. As of Thursday afternoon, the city is expected to get 8 to 10 inches of snow through Sunday.
Those interested in shoveling can report to the Fleet Farm Gate on Lambeau's west side, where temporary parking will be available in Lot 6. People must move their vehicles after shoveling is done.
All shovelers will need to go through metal detectors before entering the stadium. No bags, backpacks, or purses will be allowed inside to make entrance easier.

Prospective shovelers must be at least 18 years old and will be paid $12 per hour. Payment will be ready immediately after people complete shoveling. Shovels will be provided.
Lambeau is accustomed to hosting playoff games in extreme weather, ranging from the Ice Bowl to the 2007 NFC Championship Game against the New York Giants.
