There's nothing else to do in Green Bay except watch football, Justin Fields says

Aaron Rodgers just asked if the rivalry was still on, and if a quarterback's comments are any indication, then the small vs. big market rivalry of the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears is still alive and well.

The matchup between the two winningest teams in NFL history will take place Sunday at 3:25 p.m. at Lambeau Field. Both teams are coming in on winning streaks.

After a rough start to the season, Bears starting quarterback Justin Fields has played well and might have unintentionally (or intentionally?) triggered Packers fans and Green Bay natives.

At a press conference Wednesday, Fields said, "I know their fans are gonna be loud cause there is not much to do in Green Bay except watch football."

Ouch.

Rest assured, it's all but certain this isn't the first time Green Bay has received this type of critique. The Packers are synonymous with Green Bay and Green Bay is synonymous with the Packers.

When your city has a population of just over 100,000 and is home to one of the oldest, most well known, sports franchises in the world then you can't really expect otherwise.

Heck, Simone Biles had no idea what to do in Green Bay when she found out her husband, safety Jonathan Owens, made the team so she asked for recommendations, too.

The Green Bay Press-Gazette recommended local spots for Taylor Swift when it became clear that she was coming to Green Bay earlier this year.

Although Fields gets to live the high life in Chicago, where things to do are abundant, the city with a population of nearly 2.7 million is synonymous with lots of things, not just the Bears.

Although you might not be able to check out a Chicago Cubs or Bulls game, or go to the Skydeck and look upon civilization, Green Bay doesn't have to worry about not having a lively, engaged and full crowd at its stadium on Sunday.
