Packers Thursday injury update: Jordan Love throws in practice; two active-roster players held out
GREEN BAY − The Green Bay Packers had 50 of the active 52-man roster available for Thursday's practice. That includes, Christian Watson, who is out for the season with a torn ACL.
Here's the latest from practice ahead of Sunday's NFC wild-card game at the Philadelphia Eagles:
Jordan Love injury update
The Packers quarterback was outside participating in practice and throwing the football in drills during the media's access to practice.
He injured his elbow in the Packers' regular-season finale with the Chicago Bears. Love said he was "hopeful" that he would play in Sunday's game.
Per Packers coach Matt LaFleur, Love was a full participant in practice.
Malik Willis injury update
The Packers quarterback also participated in practice throwing drills.
Willis injured his thumb late in the game vs. the Bears.
Per LaFleur, Willis was a full participant in practice.
T.J. Slaton injury update
The defensive lineman did return to practice Thursday, per LaFleur.
He appeared on the injury report Wednesday with an ankle injury.
Romeo Doubs injury update
The receiver participated in practice for the second straight day. He was ruled inactive in the last game due to an illness.
Quay Walker injury update
The linebacker participated in practice for the second straight day, as he's recovering from an ankle injury.
Walker was ruled out for the team's past three games.
Evan Williams injury update
The rookie safety suffered a quad injury in practice, forcing him to miss the past three games.
Williams practiced for the second straight day.
Zayne Anderson injury update
The safety was spotted on a stationary bike as the team went through pre-practice stretch and didn't go outside with the team.
He suffered a concussion early in the Week 17 road game with the Vikings.
Brenton Cox Jr. injury update
The defensive end was ruled inactive in the last game due to a foot injury.
He was participating in practice for the second straight day.
Andre Dillard injury update
The offensive lineman suffered a concussion in practice and missed the regular-season finale.
Dillard practiced with the team.
Packers injury report
Per the injury report, safety Javon Bullard (ankle), linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (illness/knee), Cox, Dillard, Walker, Williams and Slaton were limited in practice.
