Panthers LB Frankie Luvu receives gift from Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson

Carolina Panthers linebacker Frankie Luvu just might be the most electrifying man in all of Charlotte, N.C.
Following last Sunday's triumphant victory against the New Orleans Saints, Luvu shouted out Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. The fifth-year defender told reporters he'd celebrate the win with the only thing sweeter than pie, some Teremana Reposado Tequila.

Well, The Rock definitely smelled what Luvu was cooking in Week 3. Johnson sent the Panthers linebacker some of the popular beverage.
Luvu, as Johnson noted, has proudly and loudly repped his American Samoan heritage throughout his football career. As Darin Gantt of Panthers.com reported back during the summer, he's broken down the defense during practices with his traditional Siva Tau chant.
Luvu is in his third season with the Panthers. He has stepped into a starting role and thrived within the defense. Luvu has 21 total tackles, one forced fumble and one pass defense.
In Week 2, Luvu recorded 10 total tackles against the New York Giants. The five-year NFL veteran played his collegiate football at Washington State.
