LeGarrette Blount, Patriots agrees to one-year deal
LeGarrette Blount is headed back to the New England Patriots.
The veteran running back agreed to a one-year deal with the Patriots on Tuesday, the team announced.
Blount was the team's leading rusher last season with 703 yards on 165 carries. He missed the final four games of the regular season as well as the postseason with a hip injury he sustained in December.
Blount should reprise his role as the team's power back. Dion Lewis, James White and free agent signing Donald Brown should figure prominently in the running back rotation as well.
