New England Patriots players Tom Brady and Julian Edelman provided a lens into the culture of their Super Bowl-winning team while chatting with motivational speaker Tony Robbins at a summit in Boston on Thursday.

Brady, whom Robbins described as, “the greatest quarterback of all time,” said the most important part of the team’s culture is based on gaining the “trust and love and respect” of his teammates. And he said it’s individual accountability that most bolsters the Pats’ team synergy and winning ways.

“If it’s not perfect, I lose sleep,” Brady said via The Boston Globe. “I threw an interception today (at minicamp). I felt I let the whole team down.”

Edelman said that starts from that top, and that coach Bill Belichick tells players that, “when you’re carrying the ball, you’re carrying the fate of every single person in the organization and their families.”

The summit in Boston was focused on improving individual motivation, personal development, lifestyle and relationships.
