New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is a five-time Super Bowl Champion, four-time Super Bowl MVP. He's also 40 years old. In honor of his milestone birthday, here's 40 facts about the Patriots star that you might not be aware of: 

  1. Brady was born on Aug. 3, 1977 in San Mateo, Calif.
  2. Brady was a sixth-round pick (199th overall) in the 2000 NFL draft.
  3. Brady married Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen in February 2009.
  4. Brady says a friend set him up with Bundchen on a blind date.
  5. Brady has two children with Bundchen, a son born in 2009 and a daughter born in 2012.
  6. Brady was in the stands at Candlestick Park for the 1981 NFC Championship Game – when San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Dwight Clark made “The Catch.”
  7. With 208 career wins – including the playoffs – Brady is the winningest NFL quarterback of all time.
