Patriots will practice at Air Force Academy to prep for Mexico City game

The New England Patriots will practice at the Air Force Academy's athletic facilities in preparation for their Nov. 19 game against the Oakland Raiders in the higher altitude of Mexico City, a spokesperson from the Air Force athletic department confirmed to Paste BN Sports.
That means the Patriots will practice at an altitude of 7,258 feet above sea level. Their game against the Raiders will take place at 7,382 feet above sea level in Estadio Azteca. The Pats will head to Colorado Springs from Denver after their game against the Broncos this Sunday.

The Air Force Academy's facilities include three fields, an indoor practice facility, a pair 10,000-square-foot weight rooms and two training rooms.
New England coach Bill Belichick has familial ties to the Naval Academy and has often engaged with military athletic teams. This past summer, he had the Navy football coaching staff spend the first day of veterans minicamp with the Patriots.
