The injury bug keeps on biting for the New England Patriots with wideout DeVante Parker questionable to return to Sunday’s game against the New York Jets with a knee injury.

Parker seemed to come down awkwardly after having a pass on a slant route knocked away. The injury happened on the first offensive play of the game for the Patriots.

Parker did return to the sideline with his helmet on, but then he was ultimately taken to the locker room so the team could get a closer look at the injury.

Losing a big-play receiver this early in the game could be a huge problem for a Patriots offense that has struggled this season.

The Patriots are in desperate need of a win with the AFC East division slipping out of reach.

Not having Parker on the field will mean Tyquan Thornton, Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne need to step up opposite of Jakobi Meyers to give them a chance.

The Patriots lead the Jets 13-10 in the third quarter.
