The NFL playoffs' divisional-round begins Saturday with the San Francisco 49ers hosting the Minnesota Vikings.
The top-seeded 49ers are back in the postseason for the first time since the 2013 season. Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo had not even reached the NFL at that point, and the San Francisco signal-caller will also be making his playoff debut. His counterpart, Kirk Cousins, won a postseason game for the first time last week after leading Minnesota to an overtime upset victory over the New Orleans Saints. But to send the Vikings to their first NFC Championship Game, he'll have to conquer a 49ers defense that ranked second in 2019 with just 281.8 yards allowed per game.
