Who will win Super Bowl 2024 MVP? Latest odds tracker before Sunday's big game
The 2024 Super Bowl is less than one week away. Who will be the Most Valuable Player in this year's big game?
Latest odds for this year's Super Bowl show the San Francisco 49ers are still the favorites to beat the Kansas City Chiefs. However, it's Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes who leads the pack in current Super Bowl MVP odds. He may not be a finalist for the 2023 NFL MVP award, but sportsbooks aren't counting out the Texas Tech product, who won last year's Super Bowl MVP – the second of his career.
Here are the current odds leaders for Super Bowl 58 MVP.
Brock Purdy: Stop picking on 49ers QB. He takes so much heat for 'absolutely no reason'
2024 Super Bowl MVP odds
1. Patrick Mahomes, QB, Kansas City Chiefs (+130)
Last week: 1 (+125)
Mahomes has thrown for 718 passing yards with five touchdowns and zero interceptions across three postseason games this year. He is the favorite to win this year's Super Bowl MVP. If he does, it would be his second straight and third overall.
2. Brock Purdy, QB, San Francisco 49ers (+220)
Last week: 2 (+220)
Across two postseason matchups, the second-year quarterback has 519 passing yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Purdy showed off his legs in last Sunday's NFC championship game, tallying 48 rushing yards, the second-highest total in a game in his career. Thanks to a solid regular season performance, he is also a finalist to win the NFL MVP award.
3. Christian McCaffrey, RB, 49ers (+450)
Last week: 3 (+450)
McCaffrey, like Purdy, is a finalist for this season's NFL MVP award. He's carried his excellent season into this year's playoffs so far. Across the 49ers' two games this postseason, the running back has broken 90 rushing yards both times with two touchdowns in each game. He also recorded 72 receiving yards on 11 catches, giving him 260 scrimmage yards on 48 touches.
4. Travis Kelce, TE, Chiefs (+1400)
Last week: 4 (+1400)
Kelce has returned to usual form in the postseason after his streak of 1,000-yard seasons ended this year after seven straight. He has 23 catches for 262 yards and three touchdowns in three postseason appearances thus far. Compared to the 252 yards and zero touchdowns on 23 catches over his last five regular season games, it's a notable turnaround.
5. Isiah Pacheco, RB, Chiefs (+3500)
Last week: 5 (+3500)
Pacheco's 68 yards on 24 carries in the AFC championship game was relatively lackluster, but it came after 89- and 97-yard rushing performances in the first two rounds of the playoffs. Across those three games, he now has 254 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 63 carries.
