This year's NFC championship game is a divisional battle between the top two finishers in the NFC East this year: the Eagles and Commanders.

Since they're divisional rivals, the two teams have already played twice earlier this year. Each team won the game it hosted – the Eagles won in Philadelphia, and the Commanders won in Washington – during the regular season.

This is Washington's first appearance in an NFC championship game since 1992, but the Eagles are playing in their second conference title game in three years. Both teams won the NFC title in their respective previous appearances, but something has to give when they face off on Sunday afternoon.

The rivalry between the Chiefs and Bills has only ramped up more and more in recent years as they continue to meet in the postseason.

Sunday evening's matchup will be the fourth playoff clash between the two teams in the last four years. Kansas City has won each of the first three – the AFC championship game four years ago, a divisional round game three years ago and another divisional round game last year.

The Bills will be looking to turn their fortunes against the Chiefs around this year to make their first Super Bowl appearance since 1993. Buffalo already beat Kansas City earlier this year, though it was at home at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York.
