Raiders RB Josh Jacobs has forced the third-most missed tackles this season

The best player for the Raiders through five games has undoubtedly been Josh Jacobs. He is currently the No. 3-ranked running back in the league, according to Pro Football Focus. He recorded a career-high rushing yards total last week — 154 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Through five weeks, Jacobs has totaled 619 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns. But it's his play over the last three weeks that has been the most impressive. In his last three contests, he's totaled 465 yards, averaging nearly 5.9 yards per carry.
According to Pro Football Focus, only Nick Chubb and Dameon Peirce have forced more missed tackles than Jacobs through the first five weeks of the season.
There was some doubt about his role entering the season as the Raiders expected to use a running back by committee approach, but that hasn't been the case. Jacobs had a combined 59 touches over the last two weeks.
The running back has helped carry the offense so far this season. If he continues to play at this level for the next few months, he could help the 1-4 Raiders get back on track.
