Rams' Jeff Fisher: Outlook 'encouraging' for hospitalized DE Robert Quinn

Los Angeles Rams head coach Jeff Fisher said defensive end Robert Quinn remains hospitalized and is undergoing tests after falling ill Monday morning.
Quinn checked himself into the hospital in the Los Angeles area Monday morning after the team returned from its trip home from New Jersey, where Quinn played 50 snaps in a win against the New York Jets.
Fisher said “things look encouraging” regarding Quinn’s status, but the team wouldn’t know more until the results of those tests come back on Tuesday.
Quinn was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor as a teenager. Fisher declined to discuss specifics of Quinn’s current illness and said it is “highly unlikely” his current episode is related to the tumor.
“He was fine after the game, he sits behind me on the bus, had a long bus ride back from the airport, we shared thoughts on the game,” Fisher said. “Something happened between time we got back last night and this morning. Still doing tests."
