The Baltimore Ravens continue to reshape their receiving corps.
Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin was released on Wednesday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Maclin, 29, signed with the Ravens last June after being released by the Kansas City Chiefs. He had 40 catches for 440 yards and three touchdowns in 2017.
Releasing him saves $5 million against the salary cap, affording the Ravens some much-needed operating space.
Baltimore brought on John "Smokey" Brown and Ryan Grant as targets for Joe Flacco, according to multiple reports, but leading receiver Mike Wallace has not been re-signed. Running back Danny Woodhead, who ranked fifth on the team with 33 catches last year, also was released.
