Stadium beer prices are out of control, but $14,000 is just ridiculous.

Well, Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters isn't paying that much to the stadium, but he is paying that much to the NFL. The league fined him $14,037 for unsportsmanlike conduct — stemming from his "beer shower" celebration with fans in the front row of the New Era Stadium stands.

After his pass breakup on fourth down in the red zone with about a minute left, sealing a win over the Buffalo Bills, Peters darted toward some Ravens fans in the crowd. Peters wound up pouring a canned beer onto himself through his facemask.

It was a memorable celebration in the moment. Now it's an expensive one, too. But Peters didn't seem to mind too much.

The Ravens acquired Peters two months ago in a trade with the Los Angeles Rams. Since joining the AFC North champions, Peters has three interceptions (two returned for touchdowns) and nine pass breakups.
